The area is in great shape for a hike and we will hike about 15 km including two beaver dam crossings, one about 100 m long. Hiking poles or sturdy sticks (available in the wild) are recommended for the dam crossing. We will likely do that crossing near the start of the hike.
We will observe COVID-19 precautions and guidance from the Government of Alberta and expect
participants to follow appropriate sanitizing and social distancing. We thank you for your understanding

Meeting Place and Time: 8:30 a.m.
We will meet close to the junction of Highway 41 and Highway 13. Our meeting place will be about 600 metres east of this junction, on the north side of Highway 13 (see map). Please ensure your vehicle has the clearance to travel on rough dirt roads (last leg of the journey).
