• Difficultly: Intermediate (challenging upward sections)
• Duration: 4 hours

• Be sure to wear proper walking shoes.
• Bring snacks, lunch, sunscreen, insect spray, and plenty water. Please remember to also eat a hearty breakfast!
• Bring clothing suitable for variable weather conditions: jacket, hat, or raingear. We won’t cancel the event based on weather, unless there is a safety risk (e.g. lightning).

Carol and Terry Ostrom, who are no strangers to walking and riding this landscape are the leaders for this Adventure, with Nissa Petterson, one of AWA’s outstanding Conservation Specialists, being your adventure coordinator. Known for their advocacy, “leave no trace” recreation, and commitment to protecting the Crowsnest Pass wilderness, Carol and Terry will help reveal the sights and sounds of this breathtaking landscape to all participants on this Adventure. Carol is also a passionate story teller, with her Public Lands video (see below) having more than 1000 views, making it one of the most popular videos of the AWA series. Come along on this Adventure with an incredible couple who tirelessly advocate for our wilderness. You will have stories to tell!

Meeting times and directions will be communicated to registered participants in advance of the day of the adventure.

We will observe COVID-19 precautions and guidance from Alberta and expect participants to follow appropriate sanitizing and social distancing. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation!  Please bring a personal mask and hand sanitizer.
