Designed for the never-ever snowshoer, this adventure will get you outside to learn about our spectacular nature in the city and ways to have fun and stay active all winter.
Lots of layers. There will be no access to an inside space so bring everything you will need to stay warm, but things you can take off as you warm up during activity.
Backpack to store your layers and any snacks or water you want to have for the adventure.
Warm, waterproof boots. We will supply all the snowshoes but you MUST bring your own winter boots.
Hiking poles are helpful if you have them.
Always wanted to try snowshoes but don’t know where to start? Join us in town at Fish Creek Provincial Park to play in the snow and learn about the birds and animals that make the park home during the winter months. This adventure is suitable for all ages!
